Born June 27, 1949, in Dargan, MD, she was the daughter of the late Mary Elva (Grimm) Myers.
Brenda was a veteran of the US Army, serving during the Vietnam War.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hagerstown.
Brenda retired in 1999 from Fort Detrick, where she was employed as an accountant.
She was a member of the Joseph C. Herbert American Legion Post 222 of Clear Spring and a lifetime member of the Clear Spring Ambulance Club, where she was the financial secretary for many years. Brenda enjoyed crafting.
She is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, James “Pudge” Miller, of Clear Spring; two daughters, Michelle Yeakle and friend, Eric Palme of Hagerstown, MD and Jennifer Robison of Hancock; 7 grandchildren, Chelsea Montez and husband, Enrique, William “Billy” Bumbaugh, Kylie Lundell and friend, Stephen Smith, Courtney Royce and friend, Hunter McKinley, Michaela Bumbaugh, Corey Robison, and Cody Royce; 2 great-granddaughters, Mika and Luna Montez; a sister, Kay A. Taylor and husband, Roger of Chewsville, MD; numerous nieces and nephews; and beloved canine companion, Homie.
In addition to her mother, Brenda was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Thomas Robison, 2 brothers, Gilbert and Donald Myers, and a special canine companion, Petey.
Services and interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family, with her nephew officiating, Michael T. Myers.
Due to their obligation to the U.S. Navy, Chelsea and Enrique were unable to attend the services.
