Born September 14, 1969, in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late Mickey William Suder Sr. and Betty Jane (Myers) Suder.
Chris was a 1987 graduate of Clear Spring High School.
He was retired from Roxbury Correctional Institute in Hagerstown.
Chris was a member of Mt. Calvary Church of God in Clear Spring and a former member of the North American Rod and Gun Club in Hagerstown.
He was an excellent marksman and avid gun collector. Chris attended a gun sighting academy in early years.
He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Always selfless and caring, Chris devoted his life to his wife and his children.
Chris is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Krista L. Suder, of Clear Spring; a daughter, Megan N. Suder of Williamsport; a step-daughter, Megan D. Garland, and husband, Tony, of Hagerstown; mother in law, Diane Dobson; 3 brothers, Mickey W. Suder Jr. of Clear Spring, Michael K. Suder Sr. of PA, and Andy P. Suder of Hagerstown; a grandson, Devon Garland; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Chris was preceded in death by a niece, Jennah L. Suder, and a nephew, Jason L. Line.
The family will receive friends to celebrate Chris’ life on Thursday, February 20, 2020 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Donald Edwin Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 13607 National Pike, Clear Spring, MD.
