Clarence Victor “Vic” Burkett Jr., 67, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Saturday, February 2, 2019.
Born January 19, 1952, in , PA, he was the son of the late Clarence Victor Burkett Sr. and Fay Louise (Clark) Burkett.
Vic was a 1970 graduate of Clear Spring High School and a member of Mountain View Baptist Church in Hagerstown.
He was the owner of Halfway Antiques in Hagerstown and enjoyed buying, selling, and trading goods. Vic also loved hunting, fishing, and playing his guitar.
He is survived by a brother, James Burkett and wife, Helen, of Hagerstown, MD; two nephews, Shane and Kyle Burkett; and a niece, Kara Burkett.
Services will be held on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at 2 pm at Donald Edwin Thompson Funeral Home, Inc, 13607 National Pike, Clear Spring, MD. The Rev. Sean Brumbaugh will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Paul’s Cemetery, Clear Spring, MD.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Thursday from 1 to 2 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Donald Edwin Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., P.O. Box 310, Clear Spring, MD 21722, to assist with funeral expenses.

so sorry to here this about vic,i worked with him at hamilton pontiac for years,always a good friend,drank a lot of beers with vic back then,he will be missed .
